Job Description


Your contribution to something big
During your full-time internship you will have the opportunity to work with two different purchasing departments. This offers a broad workload and a lot of different insights. The internship is split in two parts:
One half, you will be supporting Purchasing Engineering Team which has active participation in the introduction of new products.
Your tasks will be:
Support the preparation of non-disclosure-agreements (NDA and ICA)
Prepare Request of quotation for Supplier scouting
Support with Ratio Project Planning (RPP)
Support activities related to the TTM (time to market) projects and preparation of meeting minutes
Interact with different teams such as Engineering, Quality, Logistic, Engineering process & methods and production from different countries



The other half of your internship will be with Strategic Purchasing which is dealing with planning, implementing, evaluating, and controlling strategic and operating purchasing decisions.
Your tasks in this role will be:
Supporting in preparation for negotiations and supplier meetings
Assisting in cost saving projects by collecting information and contact R&D department
Placing sample and tool orders
Assist in initiating the parts release process with suppliers
Maintaining, collecting, and creating supplier master data



6 months internship - start date in March 2024


Qualifications


What distinguishes you
Currently studying Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English, Swedish is an advantage
Working experience in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams
Ability to work independently, approach people easily and apply your own initiative to find solutions
Technical background is a plus
Willingness to learn while supporting in various areas

Job Description
Your contribution to something big
In the role of being a Purchasing Engineer at Bosch Home Comfort in Tranås you will be doing technical purchasing for new parts and components in development projects, drive time to market process, ratios projects and introduction of new parts. You will lead technical discussions with suppliers and engineering as well as supplier visits. In addition to this you will Initiate preventative quality assurance, focus on target costing and identify cost improvement ideas with suppliers. You will also prepare supplier awarding for new parts, ensure the project schedule in respect to part deliveries and involve in Innovation Feasibility Projects.


Qualifications

A technical degree as an engineer / preferable refrigeration knowledge
Working experience in purchasing department or engineering department
Structured and analytical way of working
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Able to take responsibility for your own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions
Results oriented and pro-active attitude
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment, internationally
Willingness to travel
