Job Description
Your contribution to something big
During your internship, you will contribute to
Product development activities within mechanical and thermal/fluid engineering
Software function testing on the heat pump in the lab with rapid prototyping in Matlab Simulink
Debugging and problem solving together with an interdisciplinary team
Engineering team development activities

Duration of the internship: 6 months preferably starting in September/October 2024

Currently studying mechanical engineering or similar in the Master's program

Job Description
Your contribution to something big
During your internship, you will contribute to
Take lead of structuring incoming assignments/tickets to ELC-tra
Build up competence and structure of handling various processes within engineering and other departments
Help mapping of the roadmap of a deviation and suggest improvements of the handling of processes
Develop or improve knowledge and understanding of local process as well as central directives
Train and empower personnel in processes
Create implementation plans of improvements or changed processes
Cost improvements, Spare Parts and 8D/problems solving methodology

Your work will consist of:
Identify key stake holders in internal processes
Set up interviews and map how daily work is carried out
Close collaboration with internal auditors to ensure conformity with legal- and Bosch-demands
Use your skill to suggest improvements in regards of suitability, conformity and effectiveness

Quality Management System - Expert
Development of Quality Management System and ensuring effectiveness
Lead, drive and ensure successful implementation and continued certification of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
Lead Management Review meetings including report quality KPIs
Develop and maintain Bosch document management system for local procedures.
Quality Ambassador for the plant to promote quality awareness and quality culture
Identify continuous improvement opportunities as a proactive partner to drive improvements

Qualifications

Bachelors or Master’s in engineering (Mechanical Engineering or related)
Strong knowledge in ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 (Lead auditor for ISO 9001/IATF 16949 beneficial)
Experience in implementing quality management systems and standards in a global organization (3-5 years’ experience)
Strong knowledge and practical experience of quality tools (such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC etc.)

Support development projects and tasks within the area of refrigeration engineering, e.g. simulation and testing.
Prepare and participate in workshops and events connected to development projects.
Creation of technical documentation through reports or presentations;

Qualifications
Education:
Studying on Bachelor or Master level, within Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Technical skills:
Knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and refrigeration.
Able to write engineering grade technical documentation.

Job Description
Your contribution to something big
Responsible for developing, maintaining and releasing product engineering deliverables and specifications such as:
3D CAD Models
2D CAD Component and Assembly Drawings:
Generate technical documentation, drawings (2D) for all product components;
MOS (Material Order Specification);
Specify materials for components;
Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) taking into account manufacturing processes;
Create the BOM (Bill of Material) for all assemblies.
Produce designs that meet targets for feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, legislation and timing.
Support in construction of prototypes
Participate in product design reviews and FMEA
Contribute to quality improvement and optimization of existing heat pump products range
Working together in an international company with a lot of collaboration between people in different countries and different nationalities
