Job Description
Our department (Engineering Product Quality, Processes and Methods - EPM) is part of the Electric Solutions (ES) development division of Bosch Home Comfort (HC). Our focus is on the safe and reliable operation of the products over their entire service life. In new product development, we actively help to shape this, e. g. through reliability and engineering methods, technical risk management and reliability verification.
As reliability engineer you will drive the process of designing reliability for heat pumps and its components including the following aspects

With your technical expertise, you will make a significant contribution to the development of heat pumps in interdisciplinary teams and support the selection of suitable suppliers.
Based on supplier and field diagnostic data, you derive load profiles for heat pump systems and components.
You define reliability requirements, test specifications and acceptance criteria to ensure product reliability over the component lifetime.
Part of your responsibility is to cover planning and coordination of reliability verification, considering the level of technical innovation
Understanding of reliability methods and use them their systematic use within the development projects
Governance of engineering maturity for development projects in Tranås

Qualifications
Enthusiasm: Product reliability is important to you, and you want to play an active role in shaping it.
Education: You have a successfully completed degree (master/phd) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field of study
Know-How: Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of thermodynamics, refrigeration technology, materials technology and/or reliability engineering.
Working style: You like to work independently and are characterized by a structured way of working as well as very good analytical skills.
Personality: You are a team player, a strong communicator and fluent in written and spoken English, and preferrable Swedish or German.

Your contribution to something big
Our department (Engineering Product Quality, Processes and Methods - EPM) is part of the Electric Solutions (ES) development division of Bosch Home Comfort (HC). Our focus is on the safe and reliable operation of the products throughout their entire service life. In new product development, we actively help to shape this, e. g. through technical risk management and validation.
As part of our team, you will work in the process of designing reliability for specific components in the refrigerant circuit of heat pumps and perform the following tasks:
You will conduct lifetime assessments for new components
Performing reliability tests will also be a part of your duties
You will be doing systematic load determination based on field data
You will also have the opportunity to participate in the development activities for our Engineering team

Duration of the internship: 6 months, preferably starting in March 2025
Location: on-site in our plant in Tranås, Sweden
Qualifications
What distinguishes you
Currently studying Mechanical Engineering or similar
Ability to work independently and approach people easily
Motivated and with a problem-solving mindset
Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Job Description
You will have the opportunity to join into a growing and cross-functional product development team of Residential Heat Pumps in Tranås. Your contribution as Requirement Engineer will create the essential value add into successful product introduction for our heat pump business.
Create something new:
You are coordinating and supervising the creation of the system requirements in the context of various projects. You are implementing and maintaining transparency for the RE-Process to improve continuously the quality and traceability for the projects.
This happens with an active involvement of the stakeholders together with the customer and market perspective.
You are responsible for the harmonization of the specifications and for the standardization of the RE process throughout different product lines and locations, by being the interface between the project/development teams, and the process development. Target is to proactively improve the requirements process defined for the teams and products.
Take responsibility:
You ensure a clearly described basis right from the start for the development of requirements and support the organization with our RE-Process. You contribute to a sustainable and comprehensible implementation of the requirements with your knowledge about the methods and tools.
Assess analytically:
You are transferring requirements from different markets and customers to harmonized and coordinated system requirements within electrification, e.g. for electric heat pumps in combination with other components.
Life cooperation:
You are working closely with a lot of international experts and team with different technical backgrounds.
You are a central contact person for requirement engineering and according to methods throughout the whole HP Product Ownership in Tranås representing the business unit electric solutions.

Qualifications
Working style: systematically, analytically and independently, self-confident and good at communicating with different management levels, able to present complex issues in an understandable way. Appreciate to work in an international environment
Experience and know-how: approx. 1-3 years of experience in engineering, preferably in the field of heat pumps and their integration into heating systems and/or electrification (residential area). Experience with Requirements Engineering and transfer of Market Use Cases into transparent REs. Practical experience in using and guiding RE-Tools (e.g. JIRA); Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)
Personality: structured, initiative, technology affine, goal- and solution-oriented
Qualification: Knowledge in thermodynamics and mechanical engineering. Able to understand complex system development with the beneficial experience in the HVAC field.
Willingness to travel: approx. 10%, mainly in Europe
Languages: excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Education: Master or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineer, Physics Engineering, or similar

Vi befinner oss fortfarande i en tillväxtfas och söker fler engagerade montörer och truckförare till vår produktionsenhet i Tranås.

Som montör hos oss arbetar du på flera olika stationer och monterar olika modeller av värmepumpar. Arbetsuppgifterna består av linbaserat monteringsarbete med stort fokus på kvalitet och effektivitet.
Som truckförare inom produktionsenheten arbetar du främst med intern materialhantering såsom upplock av material samt påfyllnad av olika typer av komponenter till produktionslinorna. Vi har även en logistikavdelning som arbetar med utlastning och containerlossning.
Kravspecifikation
Vi söker dig som är flexibel och som gillar att arbeta i team. Du har inga problem med att arbeta linbaserat och är därmed stresstålig och effektiv i ditt arbete. Du är även förändringsbenägen och är öppen för att testa nya uppgifter eller arbetssätt. Att uppnå en god kvalité i det arbete du utför och i de resultat du skapar är viktigt för dig. Du är skötsam och håller arbetstider och vill bidra till en god arbetsmiljö.
Vi ser gärna att du har tidigare erfarenheter från liknande arbetsuppgifter inom produktion eller logistik.
Du bör kunna uttrycka dig på svenska i tal och skrift. Detta för att kunna förstå våra säkerhetsinstruktioner och policys.
