Job Description


Join the Appliance – Testing & Development Team and play a vital role in bringing cutting-edge heat pump technology to market! We are a dynamic group responsible for the full development cycle, from concept development to final release. We employ a blended approach of virtual simulation, rigorous lab testing and customer site field tests. As a Testing and Development Engineer, you will be at the heart of this process, contributing to the development and validation of our newest developments. Your key responsibilities will include:
Executing and documenting lab-based hardware and functional testing of heat pumps at appliance and system level to validate the functionality and identify areas for improvement
Designing and creating test plans that align with industry standards and internal requirements
Bridging hardware and software development by collaborating closely with our software development colleagues by creating, reviewing and interpreting technical specifications particularly focusing on function descriptions
Hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting to prepare heat pump systems for testing, including software flashing, wet rig installation, and proactive fault finding and resolution to ensure smooth and efficient testing processes





Qualifications


Education:
Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent industry experience

Technical skills required:
Experience in hardware / function testing in the lab at system or appliance level
Knowledge in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics

Technical skills preferred:
Refrigeration application or HVAC background
Experience in writing specifications for hardware / software and test descriptions
Experience with Matlab Simulink & JIRA

Personal skills
Eager to grow in the technical field and hands-on work in the lab
Good communication skills, working language is English
Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to find solutions
Structured and results-oriented with pro-active attitude & positive solution-focused mindset
Open-minded, flexible and eager to work in an international & diverse environment

Job Description
As a field test coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating all field test activities in projects.
Create field test planning
Define field test appliance number and duration
Define diagnostic equipment and responsible for data analysis
Define return path of material
Conduct field test preparation
Select suitable customers and supervise installation & commissioning
Support contract and other agreement preparation
Coordinate sample preparation, certification, troubleshooting information
Conduct field test operation
Visit & monitor load profiles and inspect field test appliances
Record and track field test failures
Replace or upgrade field test appliance
Evaluate field test appliance and create field test report



Qualifications
Education:
Degree in engineering or equivalent with technical background

Technical skills
Some working experience in appliance field test
General knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineering
Knowledge of relevant standards and regulation.
Experience in running testing at appliance or system level
Refrigeration application or residential heating background is beneficial

Personal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish
Structured with good coordination skills
Able to work independently with problem solving mindset
Able to work in a team environment
Goal oriented and good at taking own initiative

I denna roll krävs det en lång och gedigen industriell bakgrund och en djup kännedom om industriella processer och skärande bearbetning. Du ska genom åren ha skapat dig ett brett nätverk inom branschen, samt ha ett stort driv för att kunna utveckla valideringscentrum samt utföra/koordinera valideringar och genomföra/koordinera kompetensutveckling med våra andra testledare i organisationen. Du skall ha ett brinnande intresse för att vilja vara med och kompetensutveckla svenska industrier.

Har du arbetat med kvalitetsfrågor ser vi det som ett plus. Det är meriterande om du har grön och blå certifiering i CNC samt att det är godkänd testledare, enligt Svensk industrivalidering.

Eftersom tjänsten naturligt innebär mycket kontakt med kunder och människor är det ett krav att du har mycket goda kunskaper i svenska, tal och skrift. Anställningsorten är Tranås, på Monticos huvudkontor men det kommer att förekomma en del resor i tjänsten så B-körkort är ett krav.
